ZAM stands for “Zomi Association of Malaysia. It is a nonprofit organization and humanitarian community organization for the Myanmar refugees working under the sole discretion for the development of Zomi people in collaboration with the UNHCR and Local NGOS as well as with International NGOS and other Zomi, Myanmar organizations respectively.

Partnership is our core value as we are working with People for People and ZAM is in [at all times] good relationship with the local and international organizations such as Churches, Individuals and other respective groups working together to achieve the common goal of the association as well as to the general concerns of the Myanmar refugees.

Note: None of the Commiittee leaders are paid but volunteer for the good cause of the refugees and underpreviledged Zomi, Myanmar refugees.
