World Refugee Day is celebrated on June 20 every year. It is a day to remember the suffering people of the world who by force ran for their life. They ran away from their beloved home land and find for temporary shelter and protection in near by countries.

In Malaysia alone, there are tens and thousands of refugees and the majority of the refugee population is made up of Myanmar people. Today on June 20 of 2009, the Zomi refugee community organization, ZAM would like to proclaim a statement as a celebration of the World Refugee Day.

Our team came into existence To Inform People and Transform Lives as we serve people with Head and Heart combined to achieve our common goal in protecting the most vulnerable and less fortunate people of the world with one Voice, One Mind and One Dream!
